Crispy Squirrel Wings with Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • front and rear legs from 6 squirrels
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 4 cups oil
  • 1 bottle sweet and spicy BBQ sauce

Instructions

Mix the lemon pepper and salt with the flour.

Beat the eggs in a bowl. Mix in the buttermilk.

Heat the oil to 375 degrees.

Dip the legs in the egg/milk mixture then roll in the flour.

Add to the hot oil and fry until golden brown turning once.

Remove and drain on paper towels.

Put the legs in a bowl with a lid. Pour on the sauce and shake until well coated.

Serve and enjoy!
