Cocktail Bluegill
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Zatarain's liquid crab boil seasoning or your favorite shrimp boil
- 4 quarts water
- cocktail sauce
Instructions
~ 2 lbs bluegill fillets, cut larger fillets into 1 wide strips
In a large pot, bring the water and the Zatarain's to a rolling boil.
Drop in the fish pieces.
Cover and turn off heat.
Let stand for 2 - 4 minutes.
Remove the fish with a slotted spoon and drain.
Serve warm or allow to cool in refrigerator.
Enjoy with cocktail sauce.
