Bass in Beer Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups beer
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

~ 3 lbs bass fillets

In a large skillet, saute onion in oil until tender. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add beer, brown sugar, pepper, and worcestershire sauce. Heat until sauce thickens, stirring constantly.

Add fish fillets to sauce and cook until fish flakes easily with a fork. (Take care turning fillets that they don't break into pieces.)
