Deer Organ Stew
Ingredients
- 1 - 10 oz can beef broth
- 6 oz (1/2 can) Guinness draft beer
- 2 oz oregano
- 1 oz dry minced garlic
- 2 to 4 drops hot sauce or to taste
- 24 oz of deer heart, deer liver, or both, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 - 16 oz can diced garlic tomatoes
- 2 medium potatoes, chopped
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced thin
- 2 oz flour
- 2 tbsp grated parmesian or romano cheese
Instructions
To a crockpot, add the beef broth, beer, oregano, garlic and hot sauce. Cook on low for 1 hour.
Add the remaining ingredients. Stir together.
Cook on low 12 to 15 hours.
