Deer Organ Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 - 10 oz can beef broth
  • 6 oz (1/2 can) Guinness draft beer
  • 2 oz oregano
  • 1 oz dry minced garlic
  • 2 to 4 drops hot sauce or to taste
  • 24 oz of deer heart, deer liver, or both, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 - 16 oz can diced garlic tomatoes
  • 2 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced thin
  • 2 oz flour
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesian or romano cheese

Instructions

To a crockpot, add the beef broth, beer, oregano, garlic and hot sauce. Cook on low for 1 hour.

Add the remaining ingredients. Stir together.

Cook on low 12 to 15 hours.
