Country Style Deer In The Crock Pot
Ingredients
- 6 - 8 deer steaks, use cubed steaks if possible
- flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 - 2 eggs, beaten
- oil
- 1 can Golden Mushroom soup
- 3 jars Heinz beef gravy
Instructions
Tenderize your meat with a mallet if using regular steaks.
Season some flour to taste with salt and pepper.
Heat a little oil in a large skillet.
Dip the meat in the egg and then in the flour. Add to the hot oil.
Brown on both sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.
In a large bowl, mix the soup and gravy together.
Place the steaks in a crock pot and pour on the gravy mixture.
Cook on low 6- 8 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite sides.
