Camp Deer

Ingredients

  • 2 lb's deer, cubed
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
  • salt and pepper
  • bread and butter

Instructions

In a dutch oven or large iron skillet, heat the oil.

Add the meat, onion and mushrooms. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Cook over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onions are soft.

Serve on bread or toast with butter.
