Marinated Fried Alligator
Ingredients
- 1 lb alligator meat, cut into serving pieces
- 1 cup sherry
- 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 tsp season-all
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
- flour
- salt and pepper
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together the sherry, lemon pepper seasoning, season-all, lemon juice and salad dressing.
Add the meat and stir. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Remove the meat and dredge in flour seasoned to taste with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a skillet and fry the meat for about 15 minutes, turning often until browned evenly.
Drain on paper towels
Serve hot and Enjoy.
