Cocktail Bluegill

~ 2 lbs bluegill fillets, cut larger fillets into 1” wide strips
~ 2 tbsp Zatarain’s liquid crab boil seasoning or your favorite shrimp boil
~ 4 quarts water
~ cocktail sauce

In a large pot, bring the water and the Zatarain’s to a rolling boil.

Drop in the fish pieces.

Cover and turn off heat.

Let stand for 2 – 4 minutes.

Remove the fish with a slotted spoon and drain.

Serve warm or allow to cool in refrigerator.

Enjoy with cocktail sauce.
