BBQ Deer Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless deer roast
  • 4 bay leaves
  • water
  • 1 bottle Old Hickory BBQ Sauce or your favorite
  • liquid smoke

Instructions

Place the roast in a crock-pot.

Add the bay leaves and cover with water.

Cook on low for 6 hours or until tender.

Remove the meat, discard water and bay leaves.

Shred meat and return to crock-pot.

Add the sauce and 4 shakes of liquid smoke. Stir together.

Cook on medium until hot. Stir occasionally.

Serve as is or on buns.
