Deer Jerky Marinate - Brine
Our thanks to Dave Glazier for sending in this recipe.

~ 1 pint water
~ 1 cup dark brown sugar
~ 4 tbsp honey
~ 1/3 cup salt
~ 1 tsp onion powder
~ 1 tsp garlic powder

In a glass bowl/dish large enough to hold all of your meat, mix the ingredients together.

Add the meat, stir together, cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.

Remove the meat, pat dry and dehydrate as normal.
