Deer Jerky Marinade
Our thanks to Christina Cowger for sending in this recipe.


~ 1/2 cup soy sauce
~ 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
~ 1/2 bottle liquid hickory smoke
~ 2 tsp meat tenderizer
~ 2 tsp onion powder
~ 1/2 tsp garlic powder
~ 3/4 tsp black pepper
~ 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Mix together well in a bowl.

Place sliced deer in a large zip-lock bag.

Pour in the marinade, seal and refrigerate 24 to 48 hours. The longer the better.

Dry by your usual method.
