Grilled Backstrap Wrap
Submitted by Rob.

~ 1 side backstrap, cut into 1" – 2" cubes
~ 1 bottle red wine
~ 1 bottle your favorite BBQ sauce
~ 1 lb. maple flavored smoked bacon

Place the cubed backstrap in a large bowl. Cover with red wine and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Remove and drain well.

Cover with bbq sauce and refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove from fridge and let sit 30 minutes.

While the meat is setting, warm up your grill. A charcoal grill is preferred but gas will work.

Cut the bacon pieces in half.

Wrap a piece of bacon around each cube and secure with toothpicks.

Place the cubes on the hot grill and cook until the bacon is nice and cooked. Flip as needed.

Serve with mashed potatoes and veggies.

Enjoy.
